My name is Niall - I'm behind Wheelhouse On The Hill. I'm a Manchester + Yorkshire wedding photographer of the belief that people's wedding photos should (above everything) look true to their day.
I offer a less traditional, more alternative + fun and personal approach and I live for the feeling we get when we see an image that reflects a person's character + genuine laughter and emotion.
I mainly shoot weddings in Manchester + Yorkshire, often manage to fit in a rucksack whenever couples want to take me across the country for destination weddings and elopements.
My style is a mix of creative portraits with documentary images that make you feel nostalgic when you look back on your day.

whilst the experience I have from shooting over 85 weddings taught me to know by heart all the key moments of a wedding day I'm also invested in making sure that your personalities are reflected in your photos too. the *you* here is pretty crucial as it's the element that stands out from anyone else's wedding photos. your quirks, your sense of humour + whatever love looks like to you, is what inspires me in the making of these pictures - everything I make is a collaboration with my couples.

I’m there from prep to the party! Not first dance, not 5 minutes after the first dance...the party. I like to stay late and capture all the dance floor madness, shots at the bar and your auntie doing the worm.
