1) WHEN DO WE NEED TO PAY THE FINAL BALANCE?

The final payment is due on the one month prior to your weddings. So, for example, if you are getting married in June 16th, your balance will be due on May 16th.

2) DO WE NEED A SECOND SHOOTER?

If there isn't a second shooter included in your package, you can add one on for £300. If you have a large number of guests (120+), a jam-packed schedule or would like both partners preparations covering, it may be a good idea. Just shoot me an email and we can chat about your options.

3) WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

On a wedding day I come equipped with two Canon R6 camera bodies, a range of lenses, oodles of spare SD cards and batteries, flashes and video lights. My equipment is regularly serviced and fully insured.

4) DO WE GET EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

No... but neither would you want to! I will cull the images, taking out duplicates, out of focus shots, test shots, etc. and curate them to tell the story of your day. You'll then receive a gorgeous gallery of beautifully edited shots that meet my exacting standards.

5) WILL YOU EDIT OUT MY DOUBLE CHIN/MAKE ME LOOK THINNER?

As a rule I don't over-edit or airbrush images. That
'double-chin' is just a sign that you were belly laughing and having the best time! Whilst I will edit out obvious blemishes etc, I believe that you are beautiful just as you are!

6) WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE THE IMAGES?

Within a few days of the wedding, I will send over a lovely little set of previews to get you all excited, as I know you'll be desperate to see your photos! I then aim to deliver your full gallery within 3-4 weeks of your wedding. This will be via an online digital gallery which you can share with friends and family and download from. You will also be able to order prints directly from the gallery too. If you have a USB box included in your package this will be posted shortly after you receive your gallery. If you have added on an album, please allow an extra 1-2 weeks.

7) WHEN DO YOU START & FINISH ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

Coverage is normally between 8 or 10 hours, which can fit into your wedding day wherever you would like it! As a guide, I generally start with prep around two hours before you need to leave for your ceremony and stay until around an hour into dancing, so it's usually plenty of time.

8) WE LOOK TERRIBLE IN PHOTOS... HELP?

99% of my couples are weirdos so I just massively photoshop their faces so they look ok in photos.

Really?

no, but i do get this from 99% of my couples + they are the same ones you see in my portfolio. we're all strangely terrified of cameras because it reveals everything we like + hate about ourselves, so we overthink how we're going to look when someone is shooting us, and we freeze! so, my promise is to create a space for you guys to be comfortable + be yourselves and I'll capture you just as you are together. I'm pretty good a putting people at ease in front of the camera so that happens naturally.

9) WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU'RE ILL/ DEAD/ABDUCTED BY ALIENS/ OTHERWISE TRAGICALLY INDISPOSED ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

I've never missed a wedding to date. Whilst I promise to try not to die or catch anything disgusting before your big day, on very rare occasions the worst can happen. It would take something VERY serious to keep me away from your wedding, but I do have a gorgeous network of incredible photographer friends who can step in to save the day if needs be. I would still edit your images for you (once the aliens returned me to earth, obviously) so you would still receive an equally fab set of photos, don't worry.

10) WHAT IF PLANS RUN LATE/ WE NEED YOU TO STAY?

The hours aren't super strict don't worry. If after around 30 minutes, I'm still needed, I'll come and chat to you about extending my coverage so that you can make a decision. Additional hours are £200 per hour, and can be added in 30 minute blocks.

11) DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE A HOT MEAL FOR YOU ON THE DAY?

It's definitely not a requirement, but is always hugely appreciated. It is a long day, and a 45 minute sit down with some lovely grub helps me get revved up for the evening ahead! All I ask is that you let me know if a meal is provided or not & bear in mind that if it isn't, I may have to leave the premises to get food, so may miss something! I'm super easy to please, just no peanuts (:

12) DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

I do indeed! I have full personal liability and professional indemnity insurance, so no worries there!

13) WILL YOU VISIT THE VENUE BEFORE THE BIG DAY?

Photography is all about light, so visiting the day won't really give me an idea of how the light will look on the day. What might look like a great location for photos one day could be the exact opposite the day after. For that reason, I leave looking around the venue until the actual day but don’t worry, with 5 years of experience, there isn’t a venue I can’t handle!

14) CAN WE SHARE OUR PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

YAAAAAS! + I’d love if you tag me so that your friends could find my work to and who knows... maybe we get to hang again + destroy their dance floor again when I'm shooting their wedding day.

15) DO WE NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ELSE?

Well, just that I can't wait for the wedding! I'm a bit of a wedding-o-holic and can't wait to shoot yours. Also that if you need anything at all, either on the day or before, I'm your man! On a wedding day, I've been known to race across the venue to find an emergency dress-steamer, feed a baby his bottle, stitch more than one bridesmaid into her dress, put out a mother of the groom's hat which was actually on fire, and pin on more buttonholes than it's possible to count, all with a camera in my hand. I'm totally
unflappable to boot, an excellent cheerleader at all times, and always calm in a crisis! So don't you worry
about a thing, we got this!

If you have any other questions at all, big or small, just shoot me a message.
